Here is a unique item for the Sony Playstation or Star Wars enthusiast.
For auction is an original in-store promotional poster for the Playstation Star Wars Phantom Menace video game. This huge 3' x 5' poster was used at a KB Toys store to advertise the arrival of the new game. The release date is clearly shown as well as the promotional incentive to order the game from KB Toys.
The poster is clean with no rips or tears. There are no thumbtack holes. The poster was hung by clips so it stayed clean. It is printed on one side of poster paper. The back is white. The poster will be rolled and shipped in a heavy duty shipping tube.
There were approximately 800 KB Toys stores across the US that were offering video game pre-sales. Their outlet stores did not participate in these offers. After the release date, the posters were to be discarded. Most ended up in the trash.
I feel confident there are not many of these posters around. Since 1999 the poster has been rolled up and stored. I always had plans to display this poster, but those plans never came to pass. Now it is time for someone else to enjoy it.
