Up for sale is an authentic pre-WWI 1913 Adler Model 7 standard office typewriter, complete with its original bentwood oak cover.

Manufactured by Adlerwerke in Frankfurt, Germany (Serial No. 140006), the Adler 7 is a masterpiece of early office design. It features the famous horizontal "thrust-action" mechanism where the typebars slide straight forward to strike the platen rather than swinging upward. It is equipped with a classic European QWERTZ layout keyboard. The carriage is moving but likely needs a tune up, cleaning and ribbon.
