Step back into the Jazz Age with this delightful circa 1920s Art Deco dance purse compact

Art Deco dance purse compact featuring a tested sterling silver plaque with a beautifully enameled tropical bird motif. A charming flapper-era accessory retaining its original chain attachment, double-sided mirrors, original powder puff, and remnants of powder. The powder puff appears to be marked "Fillkwik."

The compact body and chain are base metal and magnetic. The enameled bird plaque and its background tested as sterling silver.

The exterior features a textured yellow lacquered panel with embossed floral and shell-like motifs and age-related crazing consistent with antique materials.

Condition: Good antique condition. Opens and closes properly. Enamel is in very good condition with age-appropriate wear, surface crazing to the yellow panel, and light wear to the metal consistent with age. A wonderful addition to any Art Deco, vanity, or flapper accessory collection.
