Up For Sale: This antique brass cylinder/canister with hand hammered dovetail joining and original patina, measuring 7 3/4” in height!
This antique brass canister has heavy original patina and shows lots of use and wear. It has not been cleaned at all. A nice primitive example of antique metalworking! I do not know the country of origin or the exact date of creation but the dovetail technique was widely used in the 18th and 19th centuries.
