Delemasson from Paris with individual number 4793. The ebonized case features double-sided Solomonic columns with fire-gilt bronze bases and capitals.Manufacturer Biography:
  • Vincenti & Cie: Founded by Jean Vincenti (died 1833), a Corsican inventor and watchmaker who established his workshop in Montbéliard. He developed new production methods for watch shell movements (Blancs d'horlogerie). The company posthumously won the silver medal (Médaille d'Argent) at the Paris Industrial Exhibition in 1834 for the mechanical precision of its works
  • P. Delemasson: establishment and watchmaker based in Paris in the 19th century. His workshop bought up the raw movements, took over the technical fine adjustment, assembled the escapements, dials and silk thread suspensions and signed the finished movements with their own stamp and serial number for distribution.
