Antique hand carved wooden cross shrine in the Black Forest / Tramp Art style, dating to the late 19th century. Features intricate teeth carved geometric detailing throughout with a chapel

form base and arched niche, originally intended for devotional display.

Rich dark patina with age appropriate wear. Visible chipping to the base as shown, consistent with age. I do believe there was once something in the round area. Overall a truly beautiful piece! Sourced in European and was told it’s German.
