New Martinsville Glass Scarce Canterbury Blue Etch #31 Lidded 3 1/4" Dresser Box 1940-1944
This scarce New Martinsville Glass Canterbury #31 Lidded Dresser Box is in Excellent Vintage Condition with No Chips, No Cracks, and No Repairs NOTE: there is some roughness on the base(SEE picture with pen). Produced between 1940 and 1944 in beautiful blue glass, it features the delicate Canterbury #31 etch over a ribbed paneled design with a matching fitted lid and finial. Designed to hold jewelry, powder, or other small personal items, this elegant dresser box is an increasingly difficult piece to find and makes a wonderful addition to any Elegant Glass collection.
ITEM DESCRIPTION
Scarce blue glass dresser box featuring the Canterbury #31 etch and matching fitted lid. The box has a ribbed paneled body with a beautifully molded lid topped by an integral finial. The finely detailed floral Canterbury etching complements the rich blue glass, showcasing the quality and craftsmanship for which New Martinsville Glass Company was renowned during the Elegant Glass era. Its compact size makes it perfect for displaying on a vanity, dresser, or in a vintage glass collection.

Excellent Vintage Condition with No Chips, No Cracks, and No Repairs. Glass is bright and clear with crisp etching throughout. Light wear consistent with age and careful handling.
