A rare antique Old Paris porcelain tea service comprising four pieces: a teapot with cover, a sugar bowl with cover, a milk jug and an open bonbon dish. Made during the Louis-Philippe I period, the service reflects the revival of rocaille forms seen in Paris porcelain around 1840.
The service is decorated with a turquoise ground and floral panels associated with the Jacob Petit circle. Each panel is framed with clean gilding, with light gilt scrolls and vine motifs adding definition. The colours are clear and well balanced with the white porcelain and gold.
All four pieces belong to the same matching set. Although cups are absent, the service remains visually complete and decorative, with good display presence.
The bases show a small underglaze pseudo-Sèvres stroke, a typical quality mark used by independent Paris workshops rather than an official factory sign.
For collectors, this service is desirable as a well-preserved Old Paris set from the Louis-Philippe period, combining attractive colour, coherent design and strong decorative appeal.
