Up for sale is a remarkable, authentic pair of late 19th to early 20th-century antique copper bowls hailing from the legendary metalworking city of Tula, Russia, produced during the Tsarist era prior to the 1917 Revolution.This is a highly desirable lot for collectors because while both bowls are physically matching in size and form, each piece features a distinctly different official manufacturer\'s hallmark stamped on the bottom.

Construction: Heavy, solid copper with beautiful interior hand-hammered/forged detailing and a smooth, rolled rim.

Condition Report:Both bowls are in good antique condition, showing incredible historic character. They possess a rich, warm, uncleaned copper patina. There are no major dents, breaks, or structural flaws in the first bowlpictured. Small dent on one bowl ( the 2nd bowl pictured) As expected with genuine 100+ year-old metalware, there are minor surface scuffs, light verdigris oxidation tucked under the rolled rims, and patches of dark/iridescent historic adhesive residue/sealing wax on the undersides (as clearly shown in the photos). We have left them in their original found state to preserve the integrity of the antique patina.
