State Fair Classic Trophy. Football game between Grambling and Prairie View at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas in 1990. Presented to Dave Fox, Chairman, State Fair of Texas. In 1990, it was known as the Al Lipscomb State Fair Classic. 13” tall and weighs over 10.5 lbs. Base is 5” square and 4” tall. Golden bronze finish. Made to resemble the Heisman Trophy. Near mint condition. No nicks or scratches on the metal. Brass plaque is just glued down so someone could get another one engraved. The State Fair Classic is celebrating its 100th year. Purchased from the Fox estate several years ago. Extremely rare.
