Wonderful original vintage fold-out publication from the historic Griswold Inn in Essex, Connecticut, established in 1776.

This is Volume I, Number 2 of The Innkeeper’s Log. When completely opened, the publication features information on both sides, including:

* History of the historic Griswold Inn

* History of Essex, Connecticut

* Sightseeing and local activities

* Historic attractions and collections

* Information about the Inn and its accommodations

* Period illustrations

* A large detailed vintage map of Essex, Connecticut, with an indexed guide to local points of interest

The publication contains references dating to 1974 and appears to date from the 1970s, although no exact publication date is printed that I can identify.

A very interesting piece of original Connecticut travel ephemera and local history, especially appealing to collectors of Essex, the Connecticut River Valley, historic hotels and inns, vintage maps, Americana and New England memorabilia.

Condition: Original vintage condition with age toning, fold lines, creasing and light edge/storage wear consistent with age. It has been stored folded. Please review all photographs carefully for exact condition.
