This fantastic vintage circa ‘60s - ‘70s handbag, likely Ugandan, features a stylized map of Uganda with an embroidered traditional folk art village / agricultural scene with structures, agriculture, and figures.

The material appears to be barkcloth and raffia; the natural cane handles can actually fully slide out if you choose to replace them with different handles.

Height is 14 inches, width is 11 inches, depth can expand to about 5 1/2 inches.

Condition note (last photo) - there is a bit of loose stitching near the bottom; otherwise the bag is in excellent pre-owned condition.
