DESCRIPTION: Another scarce, VERY EARLY antique leather bound book. Very detailed and interesting collection of letters to friend in Boston, by an officer who reported to Gen. Miranda, regarding the attempt to start a REVOLUTION. Book covers the details of the Revolution, sketches of the life of Miranda, and a geographical discussion of Caracas.

Nicely printed on early paper, with "raised", deep, early 3-dimensional letterpress print.

GREAT SUBJECT AND EARLY DETAIL ON THIS VERY EARLY SOUTH AMERICAN REVOLUTION. 28 chapters, each with a summary in the contents.

A nice looking, early leather bound book for a bookshelf or for a collection of early South American books and items. Very nice patina overall and leather is still soft. Front leather cover is decent, rear cover is missing. 312 pages long. Text pages are in very good condition overall for the age. Nice early "3-dimensional" printing.

Also has a beautifully hand written name in ink in the front.
