1938 Football Coach Award Knife Etched Pearl By Robeson Knute Rockne Connection For Sale

This knife was owned by football player and coach Russell H. Arndt. He played for Notre Dame under famed coach Knute Rockne on the same team as the legendary "Four Horsemen" for 4 years.In 1932 he became head football coach at Mishawaka High School and had a record of 80-35-8 during his coaching career. He won this knife for his coaching in 1938, it was made by Robeson in Rochester NY and is in stupendous condition with only some dark spots here and there due to corrosion from storage over the years, please see photos. Blades have great snap opening and closing. Russell's1935 team was named State Champions, and he retired from coaching in 1946.
