Lewis contempt case, holds a copy of today's Supreme Court decision in the case, as he enters court chambers after hearing the tribunal rule upholding, by 7 to 2, the convictions of Lewis and his United Mine Workers. Defendants were found guilty for flouting a court order to halt last fall's coal strike.Photo measures 7.25 x 10.5inches. Photo is dated 3-6-1947.
