Antique Unusual Locking Folding Button Hook - Metal Handles with Advertising For Sale

This is a vintage folding “Button Hook” with lock feature. Most likely circa late 1800's to early 1900's.

Hook is marked PAT APPLD FOR and RA SIMONSON CHICAGO.

All metal construction. 2-1/2" closed.

The slider locks the hook in the open and closed positions.

Clothing store advertising on handles.

Has patina, light rub marks - see the photos for the general condition.
