This lot features several rare Richard Corben books and supplements.
-The Burroughs Bulletin 34 Corben story is mislabeled on the cover. The correct title is Tarzan: Chance meeting! It was reprinted in the 1981 Corben Art book Flight into Fantasy with a notable difference in color to the printing.
-Tales From the Plague is reprinted in a larger magazine format than its original comic size printing from 1971. That original cover was much simpler in its reuse of interior comic panels to make the cover image. For the 1986 printing, Corben painted a large panorama of a witchburning and a spectating crowd.
-Mediascene 16 features a unique Corben cover on Blood Star and goes into the background on the making of Blood Star. It also features a large spread on a Gil Kane comic story that was never produced.
-Blood Star is one of the first books to be recognized as a graphic novel and the 2nd comic adaptation of Robert E. Howard's The Valley of the Worm. This copy is the first TPB printing from 1979.
-Rip in Time is a TPB of the 5 issue comic series by Bruce Jones and Richard Corben.-Forbidden Zone was a full color magazine from 1998 much in the vein of Heavy Metal. It features a Corben story in its only printing and one from J. Michael Linsner amongst the bunch.
-Odds and Ends is signed on the front cover by Richard Corben. Its completely made up of unpublished material including From the Pit part 2.
-To Meet the Faces You Meet is a large (larger than magazine) reprint of the Jan Strnad/Richard Corben story originally printed in the 1972 underground comic Fever Dreams.
The final part of this lot includes 2 signed posters from the co-writer\director of the film adaptation of To Meet the Faces You Meet.
