Hedi Keller 1981 Return Into Galilee Plate Konigszelt Bavaria COA Box For Sale

This porcelain plate features a colorful Biblical scene of the Holy Family returning to Galilee, surrounded by animals, flowers, architectural details and a decorative gold-tone border. The artwork is signedHedi Kellerand dated 1981.

This was thethird issue in Hedi Keller’s annual Christmas plate series. The reverse identifies it as a limited edition and is markedKönigszelt Bavaria, andplate number a7961.

The reverse also carries the Biblical passage fromLuke 2:39relating to the Holy Family’s return to Nazareth. The original wall-hanging hardware remains attached.

Includesoriginal box/packaging, Certificate of Authenticity and additional original paperworkwith the plate. The plate is in very nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The packaging and paperwork show expected age and storage wear.

The plate measures approximately9½ inches (24 cm) in diameter.
