This is an authentic vintage Japanese straight razor, known as a Kamisori, engraved with the name Henkotsu. Japanese Kamisori razors are traditional single-edge straight razors valued by wet shaving enthusiasts, collectors, barbers, and fans of Japanese hand-forged tools.

This razor has been carefully restored, hand-honed, and finished for shaving use while preserving its vintage character. The handle has been customized with a micro paracord wrap, giving it a secure, comfortable grip and a Japanese-style appearance.

• Finishing: Stropped with a DOVO leather strop.

• Shave Ready: The edge has been tested and it smoothly passes the Hanging Hair Test. Please check the attached video to confirm the actual sharpness and cutting performance.

No power grinders were used. The edge was finished carefully by hand to preserve the character of the vintage blade.
