Vintage Hermle / Black Forest Clocks Grandfather Clock Movement with Moon Phase Dial
Vintage mechanical grandfather/floor clock movement featuring a beautiful brass and silver-tone moon-phase dial with raised Arabic numerals and ornate decorative detailing.

The accompanying setup label identifies Model 9527 and is dated 10/95, indicating a 1995 setup.
This is an 8-day, cable-driven mechanical movement designed for a three-weight grandfather/floor clock and features Westminster chime operation. The large arched dial includes a rotating moon-phase display with celestial decoration.
Included as pictured: movement, moon-phase dial, hands, chime mechanism/rods, mounting base and three cable pulleys. Please review all photographs carefully for exactly what is included.
Weights and pendulum are NOT included.
The assembly shows age-related dust, oxidation, tarnish, scratches and general wear from previous use and storage. It has not been cleaned or restored.
This movement has not been fully operationally tested with the proper weights and pendulum and is therefore being sold AS-IS / UNTESTED for restoration, repair, parts or use in a grandfather clock project. No guarantee is made regarding timekeeping, chime operation, moon-phase operation or service needs.
The ornate moon-phase dial presents very nicely and would make an excellent replacement/restoration component for the appropriate Hermle-equipped floor clock.
