Beautiful Mariage Frères Paris Art Déco 1930 insulated teapot, featuring the iconic combination of an ivory/cream ceramic teapot and highly polished metal insulating globe.
This distinctive design surrounds the ceramic teapot with a hinged insulated metal shell, designed to help maintain the temperature of freshly brewed tea. The globe opens to allow the ceramic pot to be removed for serving and cleaning.
The polished exterior is prominently marked “MARIAGE FRÈRES Paris,” while the underside of the ceramic teapot bears the corresponding Mariage Frères maker’s mark.
