Hello, here is a BIG! 100% natural Petrified wood fossil with VERY well defined BARK....neat! It is from the old Ernest Shirley collection out of Hanksville and was found MANY years ago in the Morrison Formation on the high desert, Colorado Plateau in Southeast Utah!
This "rock" was a fallen tree that lived in the Triassic era a CRAZY! 225 million years ago!
The fossil measures a big! 7.75" or 19.7cm at its biggest and it weighs a heavy!
