RARE Hawkes American Brilliant Period Cut Glass 8” Trumpet Vase Hobstar Diamonds

Cut/Design Guide -Rim: Called a scalloped sawtooth rim (sometimes referred to as a fan scallop with a sawtooth edge or crenellated edge) & consists of a deeply scalloped, tooth-like jagged finish. The teeth are typically cut directly into the rim using master stone grinding wheels to maximize how the glass scatters and refracts light.
Body: Consists of alternating rows of each of the following design schematics:Schematic #1: Hobstar Motif -A hobstar is a circular design inside the diamond consisting of overlapping miter cuts that form a geometric star pattern. This specific configuration features a central multi-pointed star surrounded by smaller triangular points. Enclosing the hobstars arelarge cross-cut diamond / vesica shapes followed by radiating starburst / fan cut accents underneath.
Schematic #2: Strawberry Diamond Motif -This overall design motif is created using deep geometric incisions that form specific geometric shapes. First is the diamond grid, which are the large intersecting diagonal lines that create the diamond shapes or panels known as a lozenges. Next, inside the main diamond panel is the strawberry fill, which is defined as the clusters of tightly packed, raised cross-hatched points that form the texture. This fine grid resembles the bumpy surface of a strawberry, thus the name.
Completing the aesthetic for both schematics are cuts known as prism or blaze cuts. These are the long vertical incisions underneath and surrounding the main patterns which act to help elongate the profile of the vase.
Stem: Called a Facet-Cut Stem, this design features stacked, geometric cuts running horizontally and vertically along the center stem from which form polished, flat window-like surfaces called facets. This technique is typical of high-end American Brilliant Period (ABP) and antique Georgian crystal pieces & is designed to maximize the refraction of light through the glass.
Base: Consists of 2 parts -#1 - The Central Base: A tight starburst or rayed rosette at the absolute center, featuring sharp cuts extending outward to reflect light; &#2 The Surrounding Geometric Borders: An alternating interlocking array of hobstars and faceted diamond prisms. These triangular and diamond-like wedges form a prominent border around the base.
Part of my due diligence for listing an item is scouring the internet to try & find out as much as I can about it. I work really hard to find details such as manufacturer & pattern names, production years & even the proper terms for design features (see above). I\'ve put in about 6 hours of trumpet vase research thus far & I can confidently say this piece, though similar to many other Hawke vases, is pretty much aunicorn. Since 2013, there have been only 2 available for sale in 2 other sizes, no less. Not even in the bowels of Pinterest could I find a photo of an identical. Crazy!!
Having seen hundreds of other Hawke vases in recent days has also led me to realize that not only is this vase unbelievably rare, but some of its design features are pretty hard to find just out on their own. Things like the straight, flat (not wavy) sawtooth rim with the extra big teeth, the large clusters of strawberry diamond lozenges & facet-cut stems without the round knob accent are all seemingly needles in the Hawke trumpet vase haystack.
EXCELLENT condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. There is about a 3/8\" wide hazy ring about 1\" from the rim along with some small scratches & other hazy spots nearby too. See photos.
