The portfolio reproduces sixteen of Demachy's finest works, including portraits, children, landscapes, figure studies, and several of his most celebrated Pictorialist compositions. Printed on heavy handmade paper with deckled edges, the plates beautifully capture the rich tonal qualities for which Demachy's work is renowned.
Condition:Fine. An exceptionally well-preserved copy. The cloth presentation case is clean and attractive, the original paper portfolio remains excellent, all sixteen photogravure plates are present with their original tissue guards, and the contents are fresh and bright throughout.
