Originally published as weekly supplements in the newspaper magazine "El Colombiano" during early 1983, these pieces brilliantly retell classic Old Testament stories. Argos was famous for his sharp wit and deep erudition, rewriting biblical events using hilarious, highly localized Antioquian "paisa" phrasing, deliberate historical anachronisms, and delightful satire. Each issue features distinct, charming retro black-and-white illustrations by the artist "Al Dorado."
