Beautiful matched pair of vintage Borghese decorative wall plaques featuring raised white profile bust portraits of George and Martha Washington against dark backgrounds.

Each portrait is displayed under glass in an ornate oval gold/gilt-finish frame with decorative floral detailing. One retains the original BORGHese paper label on the reverse.

Wonderful Colonial Revival / Neoclassical decor and a nice collectible pair for a traditional, Federal, Americana, or vintage interior.

Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear. The gilt frames show rubbing, finish loss, small marks and general patina consistent with age. The backs also show wear and remnants from old labels/tape. Glass appears intact. Please review all photos closely as they are part of the condition description.
