Charles Fairmorn pipes were commissioned by the German tobacco house Charles Fairmorn and produced in both Britain and Denmark, with the Danish line made entirely by hand. Among the craftsmen tied to Fairmorn production was Helmer Thomsen, the respected Danish maker best known for his work with Bari. Period advertising from the 1970s shows Fairmorn selling Bari Senior and Bari Select pipes alongside its tobaccos, putting the brand squarely in the thick of Denmark’s classic pipe era.
Most of the Danish Fairmorns were cut from Italian briar and built as substantial, traditional shapes with excellent handwork, quality ebonite stems and, on higher-grade examples, sterling silver accents. These are sleepers today—real Danish-made pipes with legitimate maker pedigree that still fly under the radar compared with the bigger names.
A damn fine piece of old-school Danish briar without paying the famous-name tax.
Professionally restored. Stem is 9/10. Come and take it.

I combine shipping on orders over $40 in the continental US, just ask!
Measurements available upon request.
My shipping is a little more than some. I use UPS (unless it's going to a PO Box or non contiguous US) because UPS has a 98% success rate versus USPS at 87.5%. I have a dedicated UPS representative who goes above and beyond in the rare case there is a shipping issue. Three-ish dollars is worth the peace of mind in my opinion.
