Charming vintage Department 56 Original Snow Village "Jefferson School" lighted building (#5082-2). Originally introduced in 1987 and retired in 1991, this beautifully detailed ceramic piece features a classic red-tiled roof heavily blanketed with snow, multi-pane glowing yellow windows, and festive holiday wreaths flanking the front doors beneath the prominent "Jefferson School" signage.
A wonderful, nostalgic addition to any retro Christmas village display or holiday mantle setup. This piece is fully authenticated by the debossed manufacturer stamp on the underside, reading "Snow Village JEFFERSON SCHOOL 1987 © Department 56".

Tested & Working: The building illuminates beautifully (as shown in the lit photos).
Structural Integrity: No structural cracks, major breaks, or deep chips in the ceramic body.
Roof & Paint Finish: The textured snow caps on the red-tiled roof show typical age-appropriate vintage wear. There is minor paint loss and rubbing on a few of the high points of the snow patches, but the red roof tiles remain intact.
Base Condition: The underside shows minor paint chipping and shelf wear along the orange-brown bottom edge trim, which is completely hidden from view when the building sits upright on display. An old retail price sticker remains intact next to the cord opening.
