Wedgwood Madame De Estree Black Basalt Portrait Medallion Plaque C.1780-1795 Rare antique British black basalt portrait medallion of Madame d'Estrees (Gabrielle d'Estrees), Duchess of Beaufort and Verneuil, Marchioness of Monceaux, and mistress of Henry IV of France. Impressed Mad De Estree below the portrait. Impressed Wedgwood on the reverse. Circa 1780 to 1795. Has a few chips to the edge, but otherwise good condition.Measures approximately 1 3/4 inches wide x 2 1/8 inches tall.This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
